Virginia Luce

Virginia Mae Luce, a resident of Fairland, passed away Tuesday morning in Grove at the age 91. She was born on April 12, 1918 in Toledo, Ohio to her parents WM Giles & Iva Mae Blanchard. Virginia resided in Santa Ana, California from 1959 to 1976 then moved to Oklahoma where she resided until her death. Mrs. Luce was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy Edward Luce on August 16, 1983. Virginia is survived by her family, daughters, Carol Chandler and husband Jim of Fairland, Virginia Solland and husband Marvin of Afton, Sharon Ozoskey and husband Bob of Santa Anna, California, Linda Ferdinand and husband Larry of Huntington Beach, California; Eleven grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; brothers, Bill Giles and Bob Giles. Services for Mrs. Luce are 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the Hickory Grove Church in Grove with Pastor Mel Jackson officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the Hickory Grove Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove.
