Victoria Sina "Vicki" Sam-Bush, 46 year old resident of Marble City, died Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Kindred Hospital in Tulsa. She was born on October 9, 1966 in Claremore to Dwayne and Condelia Nan (Thomas) Sam. Vicki was a graduate of Tahlequah-Sequoyah High School. She married Benny I. Bush on July 10, 1985 at the Craig County Court House in Vinita. Vicki was a member of the Native American Church, as well as the Cherokee and Choctaw Tribes. The family includes: her husband Benny of the home, children, Ben Cody Bush of Tulsa, Dustin Wayne Bush and Samuel Austin Bush both of Marble City; siblings, Sherri Sam of Tulsa, Leon Slinker of White Oak, Lucy Livers of Stilwell, Robert Slinker of Stilwell, Dorena Terrapin of Tahlequah, Job Thomas of Miami; granddaughters and grandsons, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. The wake will be held at the Thomas home approximately one mile south of White Oak on 4340 Road. The graveside service will be held Sunday, June 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Thomas Family Cemetery south of White Oak on 4340 Road, with Eric Wensman officiating.
