Victor Wilkins

Victor Glenn Wilkins Victor Wilkins age 61 died Monday October 19, 2009 in the St Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. The son of Glenn Wilkins and Lila Hall Wilkins, he was born on November 18, 1947 in the Clouds Creek area near Jay, OK Victor married Shirley Fraizer on October 22, 1988 in Hugo, OK. He had worked as a fireman in Wichita, KS before serving 3 years on the Tulsa Police department. Victor retired in 1995 after serving 25 years with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. He was a charter member of the Oklahoma State Troopers Association. In his spare time, he owned and operated heavy equipment, drilled a producing oil well in Louisiana and had a cattle farm. Surviving is his wife Shirley A son Sean and his wife Valerie Step daughter Tammy and husband Bret Stepson Thomas Sumner Seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren The funeral will be at the graveside in the Duffield Cemetery at 1:00 PM on Friday October 23, 2009 with Oklahoma Highway Patrol Chaplin Sam Garner and cemetery rites by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Funeral Honors Guard Officiating.
