Vickie Gow

Vickie Lynn Gow, 65 year old Jay resident, went home to the Lord on October 12, 2021.  Vickie was born on September 22, 1956 to Jim Darity and Leta Mae Davis.  Vickie grew up in Noel, Missouri with her parents and two sisters, Sue Davidson and Debra Jo Spiva and two brothers Larry Darity and Gary Darity.  As a child Vickie enjoyed camping, fishing, and being outdoors.  For the last 33 years Vickie has enjoyed many adventures with her sweetheart John Leach. Together they enjoyed traveling, fishing, being around family, helping raise children, grandchildren, and more recently loving and visiting her great grandchildren.
Vickie is preceded in death by her parents, sister Debra, infant daughter Amy, and daughters Kristi and Amanda Ballinger and granddaughter Maddie Mayes. Survivors include her sweetheart of 33 years, John Leach, four daughters: Sherry Leach, Cindy Kennedy, Melanie Houchin, and Jennifer Massa, one sister Sue Ann Davidson and two brothers Gary Darity and Larry Darity, 20 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Monday, October 18, 2021, at the Worley Luginbuel Chapel in Jay.  Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at the Worley Luginbuel Chapel in Jay.
