Troy Oxford

Troy Oxford, ninety four year old lifetime area resident died Thursday February 3, 2011 at Craig General Hospital in Vinita. Troy was born September 1, 1916 in Adair, OK the son of Troy and Janie Oxford and was raised and educated in Adair. Troy was a farmer at Spavinaw for many years and for the last four and half years had lived at at Heartsworth House in Vinita. He had worked for several years at Eastern State Hospital where he was a baker and operated the bakery. He attended a non denominational Church and enjoyed working the farm and cattle, family gatherings spending time with his family. Troy leaves behind one son, Mack & Debbie Oxford of Spavinaw, two grand children, Monica Fantigrossi and Dustin Oxford, great grand children, Ava Oxford, Joshua Fantigrossi, Madison Fantigrossi and Kyle Jones. He was preceded in death by his wife Mcthevah in May of 2004, a daughter Mickey Lawson. Funeral services will be Monday February 7, 2011 at Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. With Brad Holman and Ken Pinney officiating.
