Luginbuel Funeral Home Vinita........918-256-5555 Tommy William Jones, age 67 passed away peacefully on May 27, 2016 at his home in Rogers, Arkansas surrounded by his family. He was born June 19, 1948 to Charlie Orville and Mabel Iretta Jones in Tulsa, Ok. He married Darlene Black on June 14, 1969. He is survived by two daughters Tammy and husband Donny McGuire of Rogers, Arkansas, Melissa "Missy" Wakefield, and one son Tracy Jones both of Vinita. A grandson whom they adopted Joseph Jones and Lila Millhollin-Caton whom was like a daughter to them. Tommy has three grandsons, Marshall McGuire, Kevin and Jacob Wakefield and two granddaughters Renae McGuire and Hailey Jones. Tommy has one great grandson Aaron Alan McGuire. He was "Poppy" to Kyle and Kelsey Himes and many others around the world. He is also survived by two sisters Juanita and husband Bob Beck, and Cheryl and husband Tommy Thompson all of Vinita, Ok. Tommy was preceded in death by his wife Darlene, his mother Mabel and father Charlie, brothers' Charles and Billy, and sister Hazel Butler. Tommy served in the Navy with two tours in Vietnam aboard the USS Dubuque. He retired from Cinch Manufacturing Company where he worked in maintenance for twenty years. Tommy loved fishing, camping, hunting, boating, collecting model cars and garage selling. Viewing will be Monday May 30, 2016 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Tuesday 8:00 am to 8:00 am, Wednesday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. The family will receive friends Wednesday at Luginbuel's from 5 - 7pm. The funeral services will be Thursday June 2, 2016 at 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Vinita. The interment will be at Ghormley Cemetery Pensacola, Oklahoma.
