Terri Christian

Luginbuel Funeral Home Vinita.......Terri Jean Christian passed away on July 20, 2020, in Peyton, Colorado. She was born June 17, 1955, at Loma Linda California the daughter of Curtis Simmons and Barbara “Dinwiddie” Simmons. Terri was raised in Riverside, California, and graduated from LA Sierra Academy; after graduation, she attended school and received her certified nursing assistant license. She married James “Jim” Christian May 13, 1987, in Miami, Oklahoma. Terri and Jim lived in San Antonio, Texas, and Colorado Springs, Colorado during Jim’s career in the US Air Force. She worked for many years as a daycare provider. Terri enjoyed antique collecting and interior decorating.

She was preceded in death by her father Curtis Simmons.

Survivors include her husband Jim Christian of the home Peyton, Colorado, two sons Nathan and Sean Christian of Peyton, Colorado. Terri’s mother Barbara Simmons of Ketchum, Oklahoma, a sister Carolyn Wiglesworth, Ketchum, Oklahoma, and a brother Tim Simmons of Riverside, California.

A visitation will be Monday, July 27, 2020, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at 10:00 am in the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Andrew Spooner officiating burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery Vinita, Oklahoma.
