Tenley Nicole Smith

Tenley Nicole Smith, 13-year-old Colcord resident, was taken all too soon on June 30, 2023.  Tenley was born in Grove on June 2, 2010.  She was a student at Colcord School where she participated in band, playing the clarinet, was a proud cheerleader, and stayed active in the Summer Pride Athletic Program.  She loved being outdoors.  Whether it was swimming, riding 4 wheelers and ATVs, working with animals, or riding roller coasters, if she was outside, she was happy.  Tenley also enjoyed making bracelets, reading books, dancing, and making Tik-Tok videos.  She attended the World of Life Ministry in Siloam Springs.

Survivors include her father Kevin Smith of Gravette, AR, parents Brittney and Scott Sisson of Colcord, OK, siblings: Madison Smith, Halie Smith, Skyler Luker, Hannah Sisson, and Wesley Sisson, abundant friends she considered family, grandparents Gary Smith and Albert and Mary Sisson, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.  She is preceded in death by her grandparents Silas and Phyllis Blevins. 

Visitation will be 4-6 p.m., Friday, July 7, 2023, at the Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay.  Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the Colcord Gymnasium with Pastor Kevin Ghram officiating.  Interment will follow at Rowe Cemetery.
