Tammy Daniels

Tammy Dawn Daniels, age 35, of Vinita, OK went to be with the Lord on Saturday September 5, 2009. She was born in Oklahoma City September 10, 1973 the daughter of Ron and Carla (Bennett) Vice. She moved to Vinita in 1984 and graduated from Vinita High School in 1991. Tammy was involved in many activities, including Band, where she was Drum Major for five years. After graduation she attended Labette Radiology school while working at Craig General Hospital then continued to Nursing School graduating as a Registered Nurse from N.E.O. A&M at Miami. Tammy worked at Grove General Hospital before returning to Craig General in Vinita. In 2007 she began her nursing teaching career at Northeast Technology Center in Afton and later transferring to the Pryor campus. Tammy was a member of Dupree Baptist Church in Vinita and touched the lives of so many. Tammy will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Don Daniels of the home, one son, David Lane Boyd , three step children, Caitlyn and Erik Daniels of the home, and Tanya Bryant of Fayetteville, N.C., her parents, Ron and Debbie Vice of McKinney, TX , David and Carla Boyd of Vinita, one sister, Deena Vice of McKinney, TX, a brother Ronnie Vice of Vinita, step sister, Kelly Shiplov and her husband Brian of McKinney, TX and step-brother Graham Erickson Covington, LA, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews and cousins Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Vinita with Rev. George Vaughn and Rev. Skip McClain officiating with interment to follow in Carselowey Cemetery under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home. Condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com.
