Graveside services for Stephen "Stormy" Miles McKee are 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 30, 2013 at Ball Cemetery in Childers with Pastor Weldon Sutherland officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com. Stormy McKee went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at his home in Alluwe. He was born October 11, 1954 in Nowata to Joretta (Nelson) and Delbert McKee. He was in the 1972 graduating class at Alluwe High School. On November 7, 1975, he married Kay Cunningham in Nowata. Stormy enjoyed woodworking, fishing, camping, working crossword puzzles, watching old movies, antiquing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Stormy is loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife Kay McKee of the home, son Mike McKee and wife Mellisa of Nowata, daughter Rhonda Lanhart and husband Lowell of Alluwe, daughter Sarah McKee of the home and special friend and helper Matt Spurlin, four grandchildren: Kayleigh McKee of Catoosa, Conner McKee, Hannah McKee, and Hunter McKee all of Nowata, one brother David McKee and wife Darleen of Nowata, and one sister Jeannie, as well as a special nephew and niece Chris and Shawnna McKee of Nowata and numerous other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Joretta McKee, grandparents Lonnie and Alice McKee, and a grandson Lucas McKee.
