Shirley Coatney

Shirley Ann Coatney, 80 year old Grove resident, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020.  Shirley was born in Webb City, MO on July 24, 1940 to Howard and Ruth (Kennett) Cruse. She was united in marriage to John Coatney and together raised two sons.  Shirley loved animals and worked at Grove Small Animal Clinic for 25 years.  She was also a member of the Red Hatters and attended Cayuga Missions Church.

Survivors include her sons: Timothy Coatney and wife Laura of Satellite Beach, FL and Tony Coatney of Monkey Island and one grandson John Tucker Coatney.  She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
