Luginbuel Funeral Home - Vinita - 918-256-5555..... Sherry Lynn Starks, 53 year old Bernice resident, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015. Sherry was born in Pryor on March 15, 1961 to Elmer "Mosie" Crane, Sr. and Judy (Crisp) Crane. She graduated from Inola High School in 1979. On March 16, 1979 she was united in marriage to Terry Starks and together they raised three children. Sherry worked as a chef for Shangri-La for several years. Her passions include cooking, shopping, visiting with friends and family, and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her mother Judy Crane of Inola, children Kristy Starks of Shawnee and Andy Starks and wife Whitney of Grove, siblings: Pete Crane and wife Annette of Inola, Van Crane of Inola, Larry Crane and wife Tammy of Catoosa, and Karen Denny of Inola, grandchildren: Emily Monroe, Tate Monroe, and Sophia Starks, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Those preceding her in death include her father "Mosie" Crane, husband Terry Starks, son Travis Starks, sister Jackline Crane, nephew Pistol Crane, In-laws Harold and Majesty Starks, and grandparents: Walter and Annabell Crisp and Lawrence and Ida Crane. Viewing will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, January 19, 2015 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home. Graveside services will be noon, Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Fairview Cemetery in Vinita.
