Sherry Jean (Frisbie) Mitchell, 71 year old Grove, OK resident, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020. Sherry was born in Kansas City, MO on November 1, 1948 to Delbert and Crystle (Adams) Frisbie. Sherry was a light to her family. She loved hosting large get togethers, which occurred practically every weekend. She knew how to have fun and enjoyed dancing, playing Bingo, and crocheting.
Survivors include her love and companion, George Bradley of the home, children: Beverly Elliott and husband Blake of Springfield, MO, Sandy Bush of Kansas City, MO, William Glenn and wife Rosary of Independece, MO, Raymond Glenn and Andy Black of Dallas, TX, Shannon Sheets of Raytown, MO, Shelley Koestler and husband Brent of Belton, MO, Sherry Lynn Townsend and husband Chuck of Shawnee Mission, KS, Chris Bradley and wife Terri of Afton, OK, Kandace Vogel of Los Angeles, CA, Lisa Kinsley and husband Milton of Hiawatha, KS, and Gary Dean Shaver and wife Melody of Salem, MO siblings: Delbert Frisbie and wife Peggy of Kansas City, MO and Raymond “Doug” Frisbie of Grove, OK, 19 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bobby Ray Mitchell, and siblings: Maretta Martino, Eugena Haas, Crystle Connick, and Eugene Frisbie.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Thursday, February 20, 2020 at the Church of God Holiness Church, 5th S Tower Street, Lowry City, MO with funeral services starting at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Lowry City Cemetery.
