Sheila Kerns

Sheila Lavern Kerns, age 48 of Vinita, died Monday April 20, 2009 at her home. Sheila was born in Oklahoma City on March 21, 1961 to Lavern and Mildred (Pointer) Belt. In 1995 she was united in marriage to Raymond Kerns where they made their home in rural Vinita. Sheila had been a caregiver all her life, working as a certified med aid at Rosewood Terrace and later at Community Options in Chelsea. She enjoyed gardening and reading romance novels. Those preceding her in death include her father, three brothers, and two children. Survivors include her husband Raymond, two sons Eric Orsburn and Timothy Orsburn of Copan, OK, two daughters Gennifer Orsburn and Stacy Orsburn of Bartlesville, one sister, five brothers, and six grandchildren.
