Scott Bailey

Scott was born in 1953 to Clyde Edward Bailey and Mary Lee (Jessup) Bailey in Bartlesville. He attended Bartlesville public schools and graduated from Sooner High School in 1971. Scott attended some college and trade schools finding his niche in computer programming. He worked at Bartlesville Office Supply and Tulsa-based Kingsley's Office Supply for a number of years. He was a computer consultant. Scott's true love was music and he played for many years in several Rock bands including Bliss, an opener for REO Speedwagon. Scott was an avid collector of Dr. Who, Mountain Dew and other memorabilia. He was the keeper of the family genealogy. Scott lived in Tulsa until late 2009 when he returned to Bartlesville to care for his mother, who predeceased him in March 2010. Scott has been a blessing to his family, friends, and so many others to whom he gave continuously of his talents, heart and coin. Memorials may be made to The First Christian Church, 520 S. E. Osage, Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74003, or to a charity of your choice. Scott is survived by his sister, Karen Bailey Cooper; two nieces, Sarah Bailey Cooper and Lisa Michelle Cooper, all of Sugar Land, Texas; and many dear cousins on both his mother's and father's sides. He was preceded in death by both parents.
