Sarah Beth "Twiggy" (Guthrie) Jent, 44 year-old well known Vinita resident, died early Tuesday, May 2, 2006. Sarah was born December 18, 1961 to Charles Ray (Chalk) and Elizabeth Majel (Dick) Guthrie in, Vinita, Oklahoma. Sarah graduated from Bluejacket High School in 1980. She married Eddie Jent on November 27, 1981 in Vinita at the First Baptist Church. Sarah was a member of the White Oak Baptist Church, the White Oak Booster Club. Sarah currently worked at B'Dazzled, she had worked for Cableone for 12 years, Sarah and Eddie also owned and operated the Pit Stop Convenience store in White Oak four and a half years. Sarah was a loyal White Oak sports fan, she loved to play board games, and was quick witted, always had words of wisdom and loved to tell jokes, fish and cook. The family includes: her husband, Eddie Jent, two children, Eli Jent and Erin Jent all of the home; her mother Elizabeth Majel Guthrie and a sister Mary Ann Kinzer of Vinita; a brother David Guthrie of Big Cabin; numerous nieces and nephews and her dog Roxie. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Ray (Chalk) Guthrie on September 20, 2003. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Luginbuel Funeral Home. Casket bearers will be: Chris Kinder, Keggy Ruark, Scott Handy, Bob Young, Bill Bunch and Tommy Butcher. Honorary bearers will be: Percy Christie, Charlie Rafferty, Bill Young, Donnie Reheard, George Havenar and Russell Horton. The funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Vinita on Monday May 8, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Leland Bartlett and Robert Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at the Timpson Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
