Ruth Burch

Ruth Mae Burch, 66 year old resident of Spavinaw, died Wednesday December 8, 2010 at the Craig General Hospital in Vinita. She was born March 21, 1944 in Bakersfield, California to Elmer and Flora (Townsend) Ledbetter. She was a graduate of Shafter High School in California. Ruth was married to Johnny Burch, who preceded her in death. She enjoyed going to the Casino, sewing, crocheting, and watching the shopping network. Ruth had moved to Spavinaw from Shafter, California about 5 ½ years ago. Those preceding her in death include; her parents, husband and a son Roger Burch. The family includes: her grandsons Steven Burch and wife Maria of Spavinaw, Eric Burch and wife Amanda of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; brothers, Delmar Ledbetter of Utah, Richard Ledbetter of Shafter, California, a sister, Wanda Perritt of Langley; great-grandchildren, Ruth, Steven, John and Dominic Burch; nieces, Carla Thompson, Kim Anderson and her kids, nephews Johnny Scott, Carl Thompson, Charles Perritt, George Perritt; great niece, Jewel Clark and special friend, Caroline Lynch. The graveside funeral service will be held Friday, December 10, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the Mose Ridge Cemetery at Topsy, with Pastor Daryl Lee officiating.
