Ronald Easker Seals, Sr., 71 of rural Bartlesville, passed away at his home, Monday evening, April 27, 2020.

Ronnie was born September 2, 1948 at Bartlesville, to William Seals and Juanita (Hobert) Seals.  He grew up in Bartlesville, attending Bartlesville schools, culminating with Bartlesville College High School.  After high school, Ronnie began his career in the oil industry.  He worked for several companies, including Borets USA, specializing in submersible pumps.  His career took him around the world, living and working in such places as Colombia, Russia, China and Mexico.  Ronnie oilfield experience spanned 54 years.

He married Wilmetta Sue Rhymes, the mother of his children, on January 5, 1968.  She preceded Ronnie in death on January 20, 2003.  Ronnie and Mary Sawyer were married July 17, 2004.  The couple later divorced but remained close.

Ronnie had attended Canyon Road Baptist Church in Tulsa.  He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed dirt track racing, as well.  He was a great softball dad and a wonderful grandfather.

Survivors include his children, Rhonda Seals of Bartlesville, Ronald Seals, Jr. and his wife, Heather of Moore, Oklahoma, Rebecka Stansberry and her husband, George, Robin Seals and Caty Stansberry and her husband, Danny, all of Bartlesville; his former wife, Mary Kidd of Ft. Worth, Texas; one brother, Kenny Seals and his wife, Carol of Dewey, Oklahoma; a sister, Anita McMurtrie of Bartlesville; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; by two brothers, John and Bill Seals and by a brother-in-law, Bill McMurtrie.
