Rodney Christian

Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. 918-256-5555. -- Rodney Dale Christian, 63 year old Vinita resident, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016 at Freeman West Medical Center in Joplin. He was born on November 14, 1952 in Vinita to Lowell M. and Betty Lou (Bean) Christian. Rodney graduated from White Oak High School. He married Vicki Nadean Livingston in 1977 in Vinita, she preceded him in death on January 5, 1994. Rodney worked on his parent's ranch, driven a school bus for Vinita, White Oak and Grove school districts, he also had worked for Craig County for a time. He was a member of the White Oak Baptist Church. Rodney liked driving, traveling, looking at old cars, driving new pickup trucks and collecting guns. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Vicki. The family includes; his son Brian Christian of Vinita; numerous cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita. The service will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the White Oak Baptist Church, with Pastor Leland Bartlett officiating.
