Robert Kanmore

Robert Wayne Kanmore, age 65 of Big Cabin, died October 21, 2009. Robert was born in Webb City, Missouri on May 26, 1944 the son of Vernis and Flossie (Broadway) Kannmore. He served in the United States Army from 1964-1969. He worked as a parts salesman for many years and enjoyed working on his farm. He was a handyman who could fix most anything, but don't bother him on Sunday when the races were on. Survivors include his mother Fern Kannmore of Vinita, daughter Tisha Morgan and husband Rick of Big Cabin, son Rob Kanmore of Davenport, Iowa; three grandchildren Samantha Morgan, Toni Morgan, and Josie Kanmore, siblings Bill Kannmore and wife Hildagard of Vinita, Larry Kannmore of Vinita, Tom and Diane Thomas of Benson, Arizona, and brother-in-law Jack Gipson of Perryton, Texas. Robert is preceded in death by his father Vernis Kannmore and a sister Elaine Gibson. Visitation will be held Monday October 26, 2009 from 6-7 p.m. Memorial Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday October 27, 2009 at Big Cabin Cemetery with Brother Eddie Matthews officiating.
