Robert Brown

Robert Eugene Brown, age 57 of Chelsea, died Monday, August 1, 2011. Robert was born in Sabetha, KS on November 14, 1953. He worked numerous years for Eastern State Hospital where he retired. He also worked as a Catastrophic Insurance Adjuster. He was a loving man who never met a stranger. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing, listening to the Beatles, fishing, hunting, restoring cars and tractors, and spending time at his lake house. Survivors include his wife Tammy Brown of Chelsea, and her children: Brody Waldrup of Claremore, and Tiffany Riddle and husband Keenon of Chelsea, his mother Marjorie Smith and husband Ron Smith of Austin, TX, father Lyle Brown and wife Delores of Hiawatha, KS, daughter Corin Richardson and husband Jon of Tulsa, son, Brad Carter and wife Ashleigh of Jenks, grandchildren: Nate Richardson, Gunner Carter, Ashtyn Riddle, and Caleb Riddle, siblings: Roger Brown and wife Carla of Wichita, KS, Mike Brown of Hiawatha, KS, Mark Brown of Lockhart, TX, Megan Hill and husband Andy of Louisburg, KS, Jan Kissinger and wife Christine of Clay Center, KS, Cindy Farris of St. Louis, MO, Julie Kissinger-Burg of Louisburg, KS, and Terri Williams and husband Jim of Carthage, NC, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. His celebration of life service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel of Vinita, OK. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
