Rickey Coppedge

Rickey Ann Coppedge, age 65 of Vinita, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012. Rickey was born in Oakland, California to Marvin Heston and Gladys (Robertson) Jones. On February 10, 1967 she was united in marriage to Ron Coppedge and together they raised two children. Rickey was truly a servant of God and his people and treated everyone the same. She lived to serve others. She was an active member of the First Christian Church of Vinita where she served as Deaconess and ran the Children's Ministry. She also volunteered at the Salvation Army and helped with Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed traveling and playing pitch. Survivors include her husband Ron Coppedge of the home, children: Ronnie Heston and wife LaDonna of Wagoner, OK and Dianne Coppedge of Olathe, KS, grandchildren: Chance Coppedge, Corey Wann, David Wann, Chassie Kramer, Ian Burnett, and Kile Burnett, great grandchildren: Axel Burnett, Nicholas Krammer, Kenzi Krammer, and Kelsey Krammer, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jerry Jones. Memorials may be sent to the First Christian Church, 226 W Canadian, Vinita, OK 74301 Celebration of life services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the First Christian Church of Vinita with Pastor Michael Murphy officiating.
