Richard Blue McElroy was joined with the Lord May 19, 2012 after a tragic motorcycle accident. Blue was blessed born to Richard Lee McElroy of Disney and Mary Ann McElroy on Disney on December 12, 1989. Blue was a member of the Quapaw Tribe of Oklahoma and well known and loved by motorcycle riders of the northeastern area. His immediate family of uncles: Randy and Gayla McElroy of Langley and Bruce McElroy of Strang, Marty and Vickie Hansford of Sioux City, Iowa. Aunts: Linda McElroy Wilson of Disney and Lee Rhonda Hansford Dick of Quapaw, OK. Blue has a brother John David and Tonya Landrum of Quapaw, one sister Ashley Lorene Parnell of Jenks. Many cousins he was raised and loved by: Larry Robert Hansford II and wife Tara with baby son of Ramona, OK, Buck Henry, Lahezra, Nazareth, and Takoda Martindale and Sabrina Dreyton, Andrea, Brian, Joshua and Dustin Hansford of Owasso, OK. Blues grandmother Martha Ann Greenback, Hansford, Dick of Quapaw, OK. Blue was preceded in death by his paternal grandma Euda McElroy Roberts of Strang, OK who Blue lovingly cared for during her long illness. Maternal grandfather Lee Roy Hansford of Tulsa, OK and William A. G. McElroy of Tulsa. Blue is the great grandson of Jack Green Vack and Audrey Quapaw also preceded him in death. Blue enjoyed fishing with his dad and playing pool with his mom, listening to blues, going to pow-wows, and stomp dance. Blue was an excellent chef, barbequer and mechanic. Richard Blue McElroy will be sadly missed and eternally loved by all his family, friends, and area bikers. He was a soft spoken, bashful, kind young man. He caringly loved and kept watch out for his mom and dad in their times of need. Rest in Peace forever Baby Blue Boy. We all love you!
