Raye Rhodes-Barnes

Raye Anne (Rhodes) Barnes from Commerce, Oklahoma passed on to be with the Lord on July 22nd 2012. Raye Anne was born on September 9th, 1960 in Miami, Oklahoma to Thomas and Marjorie Sue Rhodes. She was a member of South East Baptist Church in Commerce, Oklahoma. Raye Anne graduated from high school at Commerce, Then went on to further her education at NEO, Missouri Southern, and later received her bachelor's degree for Pitt State. She loved all sports especially supporting the Commerce Tigers and the Oklahoma Sooners. She also enjoyed the lake, playing cards with her family, and anything having to do with her children or grandchildren. Raye Anne is survived by three sons, one daughter in law, Jason and Geri Cox of Sallisaw, Oklahoma and Zachary and Tyler Barnes of Miami, Oklahoma, She is also survived by three grandchildren, Caleb Cox of Miami, Oklahoma,and Marli and Zane Cox of Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Other survivors include one brother, Robert Rhodes, and two sister in laws, Susan and Norman Rhodes all of Miami, Oklahoma, one niece Shawna Rhodes and two nephews Dustin and Seth Rhodes also of Miami, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Marjorie Sue Rhodes, one brother, Randy Rhodes, and step father, Bill Chrismon. Funeral Services will be held at Southeast Baptist Church in Commerce, Oklahoma, on Thursday at 1:00p.m.
