Ralph M. Parman, 85 year old Adair resident, died Wednesday, January 09, 2013 at the Colonial Terrace Nursing Center in Pryor. He was born November 6, 1927 in Craig County to Benjamin C. and Betty G. (Waldrop) Parman. Ralph married his first wife Rosemary in 1947, they had a Dairy Farm in Knapp, Wisconsin, they later divorced. He married Betty (Davis) Parman on August 30, 1975, they made their home in the Boyceville area, she preceded him in death on August 30, 2010. Betty and Ralph owned and drove a truck, they leased to Tri-State Trucking for many years, Ralph later worked at a tractor dealership in Boyceville. Ralph and Betty moved to the Adair, Oklahoma area in 1997. He loved the farm life and raising a garden. Ralph was a member of the Greenbrier Baptist Church near Adair. The family includes: daughter, Karen Snyder of Menomonie, Wisconsin, son, Norman D. Parman of Wisconsin; foster daughter, Lisa McIntyre, brother, Ben Parman and wife Diane of Big Cabin, Ok; sisters, Betty June Murray of Strang and Irris Rex and husband George of Pryor; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, Betty, brother, Ronald W. Parman, grandson, Eugene Snyder in 2005, and nephew, Melvin W. Parman. The memorial service will be held Saturday, January 12, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., at the Greenbrier Baptist Church near Adair, with Rev. Scott Breeden officiating. Interment will follow at the Big Cabin Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
