Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261. Lillie Paulina (PJ) Hoover, 72, passed away on March 16, 2017 in Joplin, Missouri PJ was born on March 31, 1944 in Grove, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Noble and Dorothy (Patrick) Jones. PJ went into the Nursing Program at NEO and received her Nursing Degree. She worked over 38 years as a LPN. PJ enjoyed ceramics, bowling, crocheting, embroidering, and quilting. She liked spending time in her garden and loved to bake. PJ was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ferrel Hoover, her son Don Witte, her sister Pauline Robinson, her brother Jessie Jones and son-in law Sonny Viles. She is survived by her son Buck Hoover and his wife Christina of Grove, daughter Ruthie Viles of Grove, two brothers Tommy Jones of Grove, and Jimmy Jones of Porterville, CA, one sister Linda Dieteman. PJ was blessed with ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A visitation will be held for family and friends from 2-4PM, Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove. Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, March 20, 2017 at Zena Baptist Church with Pastor Rick Thomas officiating. PJ will be laid to rest in the Hickory Grove Cemetery.
