Phyllis Looper

Phyllis Laverne (Kuykendall) Looper, Grove resident, died Sunday April 28, 2013 at the age of 83 years. She was born May 12, 1929 in Pampa, TX to her parents, Isaac Clay and Elniece (Ginn) Kuykendall. Phyllis married Earl Looper in Pampa, TX in October 1948. Phyllis was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl; daughter, Debra Looper. Phyllis leaves many loving memories with her family, daughter, Sandra Mooney and husband Danny; three grandchildren, Greg Mooney and wife Lisa, Stacy Guthrie and husband Mike, Aleisha Knowles and husband Mike; seven great-grandchildren, Tyler Guthrie and wife Nikki, Bhody Guthrie, Natalie Guthrie, McKenna Mooney, Mattie Mooney, David Knowles, and Emily Knowles; great-great-grandchild, Logan Guthrie; and brother-in-law, Myrel Looper. There will be a Mass celebrating her life at 9:00 AM Friday May 10, 2013 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Grove. Father Alex Kennedy will be officiating.
