Phil Faust

ARNOLD MOORE & NEEKAMP FUNERAL HOME, BARTLESVILLE, OK (918) 336-5225 - Phil Charles Faust, age 69, passed away Monday morning, March 19, 2018, at his home in Bartlesville. He was born in Tulsa in 1948 and was reared in Bartlesville by his father and mother, Andy T. Faust and Mignon C. (Phillips) Faust. Phil married Muriel Welty Faust on May 25, 1968 in Bartlesville. The couple lived in New Orleans, Chicago, Los Angeles, Tulsa and San Diego before returning to Bartlesville in 1993. A Phillips 66 Splash Club and AAU swimmer at Oklahoma State University, Phil was competitive in the Butterfly events. He earned his Bachelor degree in Education at Loyola University, New Orleans. Phil was always a sports car enthusiast, owning various British roadsters, Corvettes and finally, a 1956 T-Bird. He and Muriel enjoyed their many travels to the Caribbean, Mexico and Europe, where they preferred to live like locals by renting apartments and shopping at local markets for fresh food and wine. Phil was founder and owner of the Bond Brokerage, Bond Pro, Inc. Surety Specialists, in San Diego, California and then in Bartlesville. The business is continued by his younger son, David Faust. A Rosary will be held at Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home at 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 22. Funeral Mass and burial will be Friday, March 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church in Collinsville, Oklahoma. Phil is survived by his wife, Muriel; eldest son, Konrad Faust and his wife, Shawn; younger son, David Faust and his wife, Betsy; brother, Andy T. Faust, Jr. and his wife, Illona; Aunt Bea Shults; and cousins, Mark Phillips and John Shults. He also leaves behind two nieces, Katherine Faust; Elizabeth Faust-Lambro, and nephew, Andy Faust, III. He had three beloved grand-daughters, Jordyn Olivia Faust, Amelia Alice Faust and Charlotte Paige Faust.
