Peggy Kilpatrick

Peggy Irene Kilpatrick, 90-year-old lifelong Big Cabin resident passed away at Saint Francis Hospital, in Tulsa, Monday, August 12, 2019. She was born in Big Cabin to Gerald and Leetta (Trout) Hanan on December 22. 1928. Peggy was a graduate of Big Cabin High School and on September 2, 1947 she married Elmer Reed Kilpatrick in Bentonville, Arkansas. They made their home in Big Cabin where they farmed and ranched. Peggy loved being outside and gardening. She enjoyed sewing and getting the family together for meals and visiting. She loved reading in her later years. Peggy loved her family very much. She had a special place in her heart for her children, grandchildren, and family. She was a special lady that will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding Mrs. Kilpatrick in death are her parents Gerald and Leetta Hanan, her husband, Elmer, siblings, Conrad Hanan and Jerre Price, a grandchild Chell Kilpatrick and a daughter-in-law Mary Kilpatrick.

Surviving Mrs. Kilpatrick are her children, Tim Kilpatrick, of Lenapah, Oklahoma, Kelly Kilpatrick and wife Marty of Big Cabin, Sheree Loveless and husband Forrest of Big Cabin; grandchildren, Gwen Asche, Jill Murray, Juli Grigsby, Ross Kilpatrick, Jeni Urie; 17 great-grandchildren; many other relatives as well as a host of friends.

Services for Peggy Kilpatrick will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 16. 2019 at the Big Cabin Christian Church. Burial will follow at Big Cabin Cemetery, Big Cabin, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. The family suggests donations to the Big Cabin Christian Church, 278 Main St. Big Cabin, Ok. 74332.
