Peggy Bailey

Peggy Bailey was born on October 21, 1939 in Akron Ohio to Lloyd and Mabel Roop. At 8 years old her family moved West. Peggy spent many years in the San Diego area where she began her career in real estate. In 1992 Peggy, Leroy, and a clan of dogs relocated to Vinita Oklahoma. Peggy loved to travel and could always be found surrounded by friends and family. Peggy loved animals and one of her favorite places to visit was the San Diego Zoo. Peggy was also a collector of Precious Moment figurines and loved visiting the chapel.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Carl Leroy Bailey, her children, Rob and Tammy Bailey, Tom and Sara Bailey, Deanna and Scott Snyder, and her sister and brother in law Mac and Carol McDaniel. Peggy is preceded in death by her son Richard Bailey who passed in 1999. Peggy was blessed with 8 grandchildren, Lukeus and Seth Bailey, Meagan Matzenbacher, Shane Pabis, Kayla and Kelcie Snyder, and Jimmy and Jourdy Bailey. She also leaves behind 11 great grandchildren. Peggy was an active member of the Catholic church and loved being a part of the Oktoberfest committee. Peggy passed peacefully at home on February 16, 2020 with her loving husband Leroy by her side.

A visitation will be held Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Rosary will begin at 7:00 pm in the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel, Vinita, OK. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, February 21, 2020 at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Vinita, OK. Arrangements are entrusted to Luginbuel Funeral Home, Vinita, OK.
