Pauline Alexander, a beloved figure in her community, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2024, at the age of 90 in Joplin, Missouri. Born on March 2, 1934, in Checotah, Oklahoma, Pauline lived a life dedicated to her family and her faith.
Pauline worked beside her husband, Glynn Alexander, on their farm, where together they raised cattle before retiring in 1999. Her commitment to her family was evident in everything she did, from cooking for others to checking up on Misty. Pauline was not just a farmer; she was a very talented artist. Her hobbies included arts and crafts, photography, and reading. A dedicated member of the Southside Church of Christ, Pauline volunteered as much as possible.
Pauline is survived by her children Misty Grady, Kathy Moore, Galen Alexander, and Kelley Alexander. She is also survived by her sisters, Betty Curran and Anna Sue Hampton. She was preceded in death by her husband Glynn Alexander (2012) and three brothers, Billy Neal, Don Neal, and Ross Neal, and her daughter Glenda K. Alexander.
Visitation will be held on December 21, 2024, at Southside Church of Christ in Jay, Oklahoma, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with funeral services starting at 11:00 AM. Pauline will be laid to rest at Duffield Cemetery.
Pauline Alexander's legacy of love, faith, and creativity will continue to resonate with all who knew her. Her presence will be sorely missed, but her spirit will live on in the memories of her family and friends.
