Patricia Coble, 81, of Jay, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024. Pat was born in Colcord, Oklahoma on August 1, 1943, to the late Raymond Tanner and Pearl (Phillips) Tanner.
Patricia worked at the school in her later years as a teacher’s aide, she loved all the children, and they called her “Granny Pat” and she just loved that. Patricia attended Faith Mission Church where she had been appointed “Head of the Kitchen.” She always went early to the church to make coffee and tea for everyone and to make sure tables were prepared with napkins, salt, and pepper. She also helped organize the desserts, salads, vegetables, and meat dishes when they had special occasions. She loved her church family and that was a big part of her life. Her hobbies included crafting with plastic canvas sheets. She would make all kinds of things out of the canvas. She loved watching sports and football was her favorite. Pat was very proud of her Cherokee heritage.
Surviving Pat are her daughters Tina (Keith) Kurtz and Denise (David) Huebert. Also surviving Pat are five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her late husband's Roy Junior Coble and Elvis Orr, and one great grandson.
There will be a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 9th at Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma with Pastor Joe Bingham officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Hermon Cemetery.
