Nona Smith

Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita, 918-256-5555, Nona Ruth "Sally" Smith, 66 year old Nowata County resident, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Tulsa. She was born on May 31, 1950 in Claremore to Max and Nona (Nall) Smith. Sally was a huge Oklahoma Sooner Football fan and loved to be around her family and friends. She was a member of the Methodist faith. The family includes: her children, Jonathan Herlan and wife Ruth of Bluejacket, Andrea Tse and husband Glenn of Sacramento, California, Kimberly Moes of Sacramento, California, Tracy Ernest of Kellyville, Oklahoma and Quinton Cotton of Nowata; five grandchildren, Justin, Olivia, Madeleine, Zachary and Sophia. Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers and one sister. The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Luginbuel Chapel, with Pastor Justin Turner officiating.
