Monna Reeves

Monna Raye Reeves, age 71, passed away at Intgris Grove General Hospital on Tuesday May 4, 2010. The daughter of Ray and Nellie (Heron) Clark, Monna was born on February 25, 1939 in Cushing, Oklahoma. She graduated from Cushing High School and then attended business school. Monna was united in marriage on February 19, 1960 to Roy Reeves. Relocating to Grove in 1990, they were the owner / operators of the Pier III restaurant. Monna was a member of the First Baptist Church; she loved gardening, flowers and trees and just loved people. Monna also was an avid collector of antiques. She devoted her entire life to her family and never missed a ball game. Monna also loved her dogs. Monna was preceded in death by her parents, and triplets. Survivors include her husband Roy Reeves, one son, Matt Reeves of Grove, three daughters, Shawn Curl and her husband Bruce of Grove, Heidi Fain and her husband Craig of Broken Arrow and Jill Gagliardi and her husband Kyle of Edmond, two grandchildren Abigail Raye Fain and Payton Emily Gagliardi, one brother Ken Clark, one sister Paula Mears. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday May 7, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Grove with Reverend James Wilder officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m., at Fairlawn Cemetery in Cushing, Oklahoma under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.
