Mildred Pearl Brewer Mildred Pearl Brewer age 91 long time Vinita resident passed away Saturday, May 13, 2006, in Vinita, OK. Mildred was born to Wylie and Leona (Richie) Crowder in Ottawa County, Oklahoma on March 2, 1915. She graduated from Grove High School in 1936. She married her loving husband of 69 years on June 20, 1936. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Vinita, Oklahoma. She was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge. She enjoyed reading, quilting and cooking. She retired from Eastern State Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mildred is survived by: her loving husband Arnold Brewer of the home; her daughter Jo Ann Burger, Tulsa, Oklahoma; her grandson Jimmy Burger and wife Kathy, New Bedford, Massachusetts; her granddaughter Jennifer Abbey and husband Michael, Tulsa, Oklahoma; three great grandchildren, Jimmy Burger, II, Petie Burger and Jessica Abbey; her sisters Lillian Booth-Wells, Miami, Oklahoma and Wanda Schuth, Tucson, Arizona. Mildred was preceded in death by: her parents Leona and Wylie Crowder; her daughter Mary Ruth Brewer and her sister Ruth Reynolds. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at Luginbuel Funeral Home, 332 N. Scraper, Vinita. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at the First Baptist Church, 321 West Illinois Avenue, Vinita. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery. Dr. Henry Haynes officiating.
