Mary Welch

Grove, Ok. - Mary L. Welch of Grove, Oklahoma died early Thursday morning at Grove Nursing Center. She was born June 18, 1924 to L.C. and Eva Abercrombie at Avant, Oklahoma. Mary attended grade school at the Atlantic Field School and high school at Wynona, Oklahoma and Norris City, Illinois. Mary is survived by a daughter, Sharon Hitchcock of Grove; two grandchildren Jeremy of Tahlequah, Ok. and Jennifer of Leach, Ok.; seven great grandchildren, Rachel, Donovan, Jordan, Justin, Cheyenne, Raven and Aspen; two brothers, Bob Abercrombie of Roosevelt, Utah and Jim and his wife Terry Abercrombie of Grove and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, T.J. Rodgers and later by her second husband, Bill Welch, and her older brother Ray Abercrombie. Graveside services will be held at the Tahlequah, Oklahoma Cemetery at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 24, 2006. The family will receive friends, Sunday evening, April 23 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma.
