Mary Jackson

Mary Sue Jackson, 60 year old Grove, Oklahoma resident passed away, Wednesday October 31, 2012 in Grove, Oklahoma. Mary was born on February 13, 1952 in Los Angeles, California to Jim and Elsie (Selby) Lowry. She was an avid reader who enjoyed novels and crossword puzzles. She was an animal lover, especially horses and dog, and a rodeo queen in her younger days. She tended a garden of both flowers and vegetables, and enjoyed canning food with her family. Mary was a devoted homemaker most of her life; she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, and honorary parents, A.D. and Rachel Jackson. Mary is survived by her children, Andrew Jackson and wife Stacie of Zena, Oklahoma, and Sandie Marney of Grove, Oklahoma. Mary is also survived by grandchildren, Dayla Marney, Chevelle Sue Jackson, and Gauge Jackson, as well as a great grandchild Liam Ray-J Marney. A visitation for Mary will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday November 4, 2012 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. Funeral Services for Mary will held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday November 5, 2012 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Zena Cemetery.
