Mary Lucille Harvey Funeral services for Mary Lucille Harvey will be held Friday, January 19, 2007, at 10:00 a.m., at the First Baptist Church of Nowata. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Nowata, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Home, of Nowata. Mary Lucille Harvey was born November 28, 1923, in Birch Tree, Missouri, to Roy and Idella (Bell) Woods. She passed from this life January 15, 2007, in Bartlesville after reaching eighty-three years, one month, and seventeen days. She attended school at Armstrong, and Salt Creek Country School. On December 27, 1942, she married Pete Harvey in Abilene, Texas. They returned to Nowata after Pete completed his military service during WWII. She enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of the family. She loved to cook and decorated cakes for people all over Nowata, and the surrounding area. She liked to crochet, and taught some her granddaughters the art. Lucille was a member of the First Baptist Church, and active in the Priscilla Class. She was also active in the Nowata Garden Club and Oklahoma Home Community Education Club. She was loved by all who knew her. She truly will be missed. Preceding Mrs. Harvey in death are her parents, Roy and Idella Woods; husband, Pete; brother, Don Woods; and sister Viola Marshall. Surviving Mrs. Harvey are sons, Bob Harvey, and wife Dawn, of Nowata, Larry Harvey, and wife Deena, of Forney, Texas, Mark Harvey, and wife Bobbie, of Rockwall, Texas, nine grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren; sisters, Irene Paige, of Nowata, Diane Marshall, of Oklahoma City, Gail Roby, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Darlene Stashelm, of Rockport, Missouri; a host of other relatives, friends, and loved ones.
