Mary Lorinda Crowder, age 87, widow of Charles L. Crowder and lifetime resident of Bartlesville had her first day in heaven on Saturday, September 23, 2006, where she and Charlie will reside for eternity. Funeral services for Mrs. Crowder will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, September 27th, at the First Church of God in Dewey, Oklahoma, Rev. Tony Siebels and Rev. Ross Atkins presiding. Final committal rites will be accorded at the family plot at White Rose Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com. Mrs. Crowder was born to George and Doll Ruddick in Tiff City, Missouri on December 1, 1918. Mary was one of ten children and they were all raised in Tiff City. Charlie and Mary moved to Bartlesville in 1947 with their three children. Charlie retired after having completed 26 years of service with the City of Bartlesville. Charlie and Mary both worked part time for Foster Petroleum Company from the fall of 1961 to June of 2004. May was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her role as a mother and grandmother, faithfully supported by Charlie, was a role of devotion, love and loyalty that established a strong foundation in each child's life for eternity. Casket Bearers for the service will include grandsons Michael Dodd, Stephen Dodd, Rick Shahan, Jody Shahan, Scott Roby, and great-grandson Kaylan Roby. Honorary Casket Bearers are David Ruddick, Jerry Ruddick, and John Ruddick. Mary is survived by two daughters, Aggie and Joe Shahan of Artesia, New Mexico, and Myrtle D and Archie Dodd of Frisco, Texas, five grandchildren Rick (Teri) Shahan, Kathy (Scott) Roby, Jody (Dawn) Shahan, Michael (Robin) Dodd, and Stephen (Sandra) Dodd, eight great grandchildren Garrett, Madison, Tanner, Kandis, Kaylan, Ryan, Sawyer, and Harley, two brothers and one sister, Howard (June) Ruddick, Wayne (Donna) Ruddick, and Ruby Williams, and a host of nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie, one son, Chuck, both of her parents, four brothers and two sisters.
