Marie Lillian Graves, 90 died Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 2006, at the Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina. Marie was born to Edward and Elsie Boehm on March 18, 1916, in Cleveland, Ohio. Marie was a resident of Vinita for 24 years, moving to South Carolina shortly after her husband, Ralph Everett Graves, passed away in 1997. While living in Vinita, she was a member of the First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Steve Katrenick, her second husband, Ralph Graves, three step-daughters, Ellen Lou Graves, Nancy Duff and Mary Yvonne Buchanan, one step-son, Garland Graves, two brothers-in-law Jack Graves and Emmett Graves and three sisters-in-law Lois Culver, Mamie Parsons and Myrtle Wilson. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Gwen Katrenick of Simpsonville, South Carolina, one sister, Marge Sweeney, of Cleveland, Ohio, one step-son, Tommy Graves of Vinita, Oklahoma, two step-daughters, Judy Gates of North Little Rock, Arkansas and Lavona Baker of Claremore, Oklahoma, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2006, at 10:00 am in the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Henry Skip McClain officiating. Interment will follow in the Martin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends and family may donate to the Home of Hope of Vinita, Oklahoma.
