Lydia King, 97 year old, Grove area resident, passed away Sunday April 8, 2012 in Seneca, Missouri, Lydia was born on December 20, 1914 in Windsor, Colorado to Conrad and Charlotte (Funk) Schuldies. Lydia for a cleaning service for many years before retiring to become a homemaker, she was an avid gardener who enjoyed growing all sorts of flowers, she also enjoyed crocheting. Lydia married Charles King on December 5, 1937, and together they moved to this area in the late 1970's. Lydia was preceded in death by her husband, and a son, Harvey King. Lydia is survived by a son, Alden King and wife Pat, of Mitchell, Nebraska, two daughters, Barbara McGlassion and husband Gary, of Branson West, Missouri, and Kathy King of Albany, Texas. Lydia is also survived by eight grandchildren, Debbie, Rubin, Laurie, Ron, Teri, Cindy, Richard, and Duane, as well as six great grandchildren. A visitation for Lydia will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2;00 p.m. on Saturday April 14, 2012 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma, interment will follow at Olympus Cemetery.
