Lucille Thach, age 84 and longtime Vinita resident, died Tuesday, June 1, 2010. She was born in Welch on June 11, 1925, the daughter of William and Georgia (Logston) McCoy. On January 6, 1940 she was united in marriage to William H. Thach and together they raised 6 children. Lucille loved flowers, cooking, and caring for her family and friends. She owned and operated Lucille's Flowers for 50 years before retiring. She was a hard worker and will be missed by many. Survivors include her six children: Edna Lee Keeton of Vinita, Peggy Small and husband David of Grove, Billy "Sam" Thach and wife Sharon of Adair, Shirley Winfrey and husband Clem of Bluejacket, Judy Thach of Golden, MO, and Mary Jane Nicely of Vinita, 16 grandchildren: John Kelley, Ronnie Kelley, Lonnie Kelley, Tony Small, Jenny Johnson, Lindy Davenport, Todd Small, Dough Thach, Kevin Skaggs, Troy Winfrey, Mark Winfrey, La Donna Malone, Dee Dee Mitchell, Bill Griffith, Jerrod Culver, Crystal Waldo, Tiffany Culver, 44 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren, and one sister Fern Langley of Vinita. Lucille is preceded in death by her parents, husband William Thach, and two half sisters. Visitation will be Thursday, June 3, 2010 from 6-7 p.m. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 4, 2010 at Luginbuel Funeral Home with Pastor Skip McClain officiating.
