Loyd Rosell

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma 918-253-3222. Loyd Dwayne Rosell, born March 25, 1930 in Row, Oklahoma, went home to be with Jesus on February 21, 2016 at the age of 85. He was preceded in death by parents John Howard Rosell and Lyda Ellen (Potter) Rosell - Pearce. Loyd is survived by his wife Jane Rosell of the home, sons; John Rosell and wife Annette of Claremore, OK, Dee Rosell and wife Bonnie of Tulsa, OK, Mike Rosell of Rockwall TX, daughter Elaine and husband Joe Winfield of Jay, OK, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, sister Madalee "Mattie" Woods and Jolene Herrring. Loyd was a member of Faith Mission Church, Jay Masonic Lodge and an Army Veteran. He served three terms as Sheriff of Delaware County, he was a carpenter and a truck driver. Loyd enjoyed family "get-to-gathers", stock car racing, rebuilding and selling trucks and cars. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 PM, Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, OK. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 26, 2016 at Faith Mission Church with Dewitt Teehee officiating. Loyd will be laid to rest in Duffield Cemetery. Honoring Loyd's life by serving as casket bearers will be Gene Woods, JR Herring, Morris Vancourt, David Reasor, G.C. Wilson and Rob Armbrister.
