Loneise L. Tanner left this earth to join her husband and mother in heaven on December 12, 2020 at Integris Grove Hospital after fighting long and hard with Covid-19.
Loneise was born on June 14, 1957 to Gerald T. and Gladys I (Hoffman) Black in Alamogordo, New Mexico. They later moved here to Grove where she spent her life working and raising her family. Loneise loved to fish, sew, crochet, spend time with her family, and she loved watching her granddaughters participate in their various sporting events, even when she was not feeling well. She was proud of her children and the adults that they had become and made it her goal to spend as much time as possible with all them.
Loneise is survived by her daughter Angie and son in law Frankie Shepherd, their two daughters Kaylee and Emmy Shepherd, her son Taylor Tanner, her fur baby snickers, step daughter Paula (Randy) Prins, grandchildren Missy (Justin) Skaggs, Todd (Kaylee) Prins, Vanessa Hernandez, 6 great grandchildren and brother Bill Black. She was preceded in death by both her parents, beloved husband Bill Tanner and stepdaughter Amanda Bice.
Services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Foundation Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Sam Smith officiating. Burial will be at Zena Cemetery next to her husband. Arrangements have been entrusted to Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma
