Lola Spees

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK.....918-786-2261....Lola Grace Spees, passed away at the Grand Lake Villa in Grove, OK on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the age of 94. Lola was born on August 20, 1920 in Henriette, MN, the daughter of the late Lloyd Crom and Lois (Westfall) Crom. Lola and her family moved to West Allis, WI during her teen years where she graduated high school. Lola married George Spees on October 5, 1946 in West Allis, WI. The couple moved to Milwaukee, WI where they lived and raised their family. In 1962, she and her family moved to Carmichael, CA Where Lola worked as a school cook in the local San Jaun school District. and where they resided until moving to Colorado in 1996 to be close to her family. Lola enjoyed cooking and quilting, but most of all she loved to be around her family and friends especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her three daughters: Linda Riggins and her husband Richard of Grove, OK, Lola Finley and her husband Dave of Chico, CA, Lori Walker and her husband Steve of Colorado Springs, CO; one brother Lloyd Crom of Wisconsin; four grandchildren: Brian Riggins, Pattie Castro and her husband Kevin, Christine Tanner and her husband Matt, and Kittie Larson; and six great grandchildren: Stephanie Riggins, Ryan Riggins, Kelsie Castro, Adam Tanner, Aundrea Tanner, and Shyanne Ludwig. There are no services at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK.
