Lola Davenport

Lola Fay (Langley) Davenport, ninety years old, passed away June 12, 2020 in Centralia, OK. She was born August 30, 1929 in Bluejacket, OK, the daughter of Robert Langley and Mary (Parkhurst) Langley. Lola married Owen M. Davenport on November 14, 1947 in Okmulgee, OK. They enjoyed 72 years of marriage. She was a loving wife and mother who helped her husband on the farm. Lola always enjoyed having a garden, she canned many vegetables. She received many compliments for her green beans, beets, corn relish and especially her pickles. She was a member of the Sunshine Bible Church. Lola loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with a heart full of love for them all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Langley; brothers, Orville, A.D. and Clayton Langley; sisters, Loretta Ivy, Colleen Lucas, twin sister May Clarkson, Nadine Rogers, Hazel Hensley and Irene Langley.

The family includes her husband, Owen “Jack” Davenport of the home; daughters Lois Allensworth and husband Bud of Collinsville, OK, Anita Taylor and husband Darrell of Vinita; son, David Davenport and wife Debbie of Vinita; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Justin Taylor, Shon Taylor, Cory Davenport, Ricky Beavers, great-grandchildren Truitt Taylor, Ty Taylor, Tanner Taylor, Hayden Taylor, Ian Beavers, Joshua Beavers, Gavin Beavers and Jeremiah Beavers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Shelia Beavers and Melissa Allensworth.

A celebration of life visitation will be held Monday, June 15, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral. Services will be Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Orville Moody and Bob Whitchurch officiating. Burial will follow in Bluejacket Cemetery.
