Linda Bradley

Linda Carol Bradley, 57 year old Big Cabin resident and a Third grade teacher at Will Rogers Elementary School, died Saturday, October 3, 2009, due to injuries from an accident. She was born January 18, 1952 in Bakersfield, California to William Ernest and Rose (Begley) Brannan. Linda graduated high school from Stoutland, Missouri and attended college at NSU in Tahlequah and Rogers State College in Claremore. She married Robert E. Bradley on December 24, 1970 in Stoutland. Linda had been teaching at Will Rogers since the 2002-2003 school year. She was a very active member of the Craig County Baptist Church in Vinita, she was a member of the Choir, taught Sunday School, led Children's Church, did props for Vacation Bible School, sang specials and done back drops for the Children's plays. Linda was fluent in Spanish, loved crocheting, gardening, sewing and painting. She was also a member of the Teacher's Association. The family includes: her husband, Robert of the home, son Bobby also of the home; her parents, William and Rose Brannan of Big Cabin, sisters, Ellen Donofrio of Anaheim, California, Dee Harper of Oakview, California, Roberta Thomas of Blackwell, Oklahoma and a brother Chuck Brannan of Course Gold, California. A sister, Barbara Fiser preceded her in death. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at the Luginbuel Chapel. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at the Craig County Baptist Church in Vinita, with Pastor Don Carden officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita. Memorials may be made to the Craig County Baptist Church Childrens Ministry for Missions, 1517 E Country Club Drive, Vinita, OK 74301.
