Lillie Garner

Lillie "Lorene" Garner a ninety year old resident of Grove passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at her home. She was born on April 23, 1920 in Coweta, Oklahoma to Wesley Newton and Lily Virginia Morris . Mrs. Garner was a homemaker loved her family and an avid follower of her grandkids ballgames and livestock shows. She enjoyed crosswords, sewing and doing yardwork and even played a little guitar. She attended First Assembly of God in Grove when she was able. Her Husband Thomas Owen Garner, preceded her in death. Mrs. Garner was the youngest of nine brothers and sisters by ten years who all preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter Brenda Houston of Grove, her grandchildren Shane Johnson and his wife Carolyn, Sheldon Johnson, Glenna Lennon all of Grove, Great Grandchildren Ross Hanes of Grove, Kyle Johnson of Stillwater, Jackie Smith and her husband Kevin of Grove, Great Great Grandchildren Hailey Morgan of Grove, Rilley Hanes of Webb City, and Dax Johnson of Stillwater. There will be open viewing for Mrs. Garner at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home on Sunday, December 26, 2010 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Funeral Services for Mrs. Garner will be on Monday, December 27, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove. Interment will follow in the Olympus Cemetery under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home. Friends and family may send online condolences at www.honoringmemories.com.
