Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. 918-256-5555. Lillie Bennington 94 year old Claremore resident, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at her home in Claremore. She was born on June 25, 1923 in Vinita, OK to Lee and Ruby (Steele) Couch. Lillie married Lee Bennington on January 14, 1942 in Barnsdall, OK. There were two children born to their marriage. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, four sisters, one grandson and one son in-law. The surviving family includes; her son Gary Bennington and wife Vonda of Odessa, Texas, her daughter, Judi Bradshaw of Claremore; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A family visitation for Lillie Bennington will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2017, 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Faith Baptist Church Claremore, Ok. Casket Bearers will be Ed McKinney, Cliff Krumweide, David Prebble, Darren Lauer, Gordon Holland and Wade Bennington. Services for Lillie Bennington will be Wednesday, September 13 ,2017, 10:00 AM at Faith Baptist Church Claremore. Pastor Craig Long will be officiating; interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery Vinita, Ok. Services by Luginbuel Funeral Home Vinita, Ok.
