Leroy Toon

Leroy B. Toon, 72, died on Thursday, July 26, 2007 in Tulsa. He was born in Cooper, Texas in 1935 to U. B. and Mattie May Toon. He was the oldest of 4 children. Leroy graduated from Wichita Falls High and then went on to Texas A & M and Midwestern University, playing basketball for both schools. He was employed by W. C. Norris, Dover Corporation for 36 years as Sales Manager. He lived in Broken Arrow before moving to Grand Lake full time 2 years ago. Leroy was a member of the South Grand Lake Christian Church where he served as Deacon. He also volunteered for Meals on Wheels. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kenya of Langley and his son Jason of Dallas. He was predeceased by his parents and 2 sisters. The Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m.Saturday, July 28, 2007 at South Grand Lake Christian Church near Langley. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home.
